MERIAL® EQVALAN®(ivermectin) Liquid provides the broadest spectrum of control available against equine parasites. EQVALAN is safe enough that it can be used in horses of all ages, including mares at any stage of pregnancy. Stallions may be treated without adversely affecting their fertility.
EQVALAN® provides effective control of the following parasites or parasitic conditions in horses:
Large Strongyles - adults and arterial larval stages of Strongylus vulgaris, adults and tissue stages of S. edentatus, adults of S. equinus and Triodontophorus spp;
Small Strongyles - including those resistant to some benzimidazole class compounds (adults and fourth-stage larvae) - Cyathostomum spp, Cylicocyclus spp, Cylicostephanus spp, Cylicodontophorus spp;
Pinworms (adults and fourth-stage larvae) - Oxyuris equi;
Ascarids (adult and third- and fourth-stage larvae) - Parascaris equorum;

VEDCO's EQUI-PHAR ProTal equine anthelmintic suspension. Active Ingredient:50 mg of pyrantel base as pyrantel pamoate per mL
For the removal and control of mature infections of large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus, S. equinus); pinworms (Oxyuris equi); large roundworms (Parascaris equorum); and small strongyles in horses and ponies.
Dosage & Administration: Administer 3 mg pyrantel base per pound of body weight (6 mL ProTal (pyrantel pamoate) per 100 lb. body weight). It is recommended that severely debilitated animals not be treated with this preparation. Brand name may vary according to availability.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: ProTal (pyrantel pamoate) may be administered by means of a stomach tube, dose syringe or by mixing into the feed.
CAUTION: THIS PRODUCT IS A SUSPENSION AND AS SUCH WILL SEPARATE. TO INSURE UNIFORM RE-SUSPENSION AND TO ACHIEVE PROPER DOSAGE, IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT THE PRODUCT BE SHAKEN AND STIRRED THOROUGHLY BEFORE EVERY USE.

This applicator is intended for use in administration of Ivermectin liquid orally to horses. Attach bottle to receptacle cap with draw-up tube extending to bottom of the bottle. Hold the cap when attaching the bottle to prevent it from turning. Set the dose by turning the selector at the rear of the fingerbar to desired setting. To prime for use, hold the applicator vertically and pump until all air is expelled from the barrel. NOTE: The 100 ml size bottles of Eqvalan or Promectin-E ivermectin is recommended.
